Transparent Funding

Standard Camp Fee: $800 per person

Your camp fees directly contribute to our community gift. The vibroacoustic experience we build and offer is also utilized by non-profit organizations throughout the year to support individuals with post-trauma disorders and promote general healing and well-being.

100% of funds are reinvested into camp infrastructure, operations, and our artistic gift to Black Rock City. VCAMP is a passionate, non-profit, community-driven endeavor.

Please Note: Optional RV services (Water Refill: $115, Pump-out: $85) are an additional on-playa cost, paid directly to service providers. Budget items are estimates and subject to change based on final procurement.

BRC Ticket (Optional Add-on): $650 per ticket.

This is an optional add-on for approved members needing a ticket. VCAMP endeavors to secure a limited number of tickets at the standard BRC price. Your Questions Answered (FAQ)

What about food, water, and my personal tent/RV?

VCAMP operates on the principle of Radical Self-Reliance. You are responsible for bringing all your own food, drinking water, and personal shelter (tent, RV, bedding, etc.). We provide the communal infrastructure listed under "What's Provided."

What are the toilet facilities like?

We provide private porta-potties serviced regularly for VCAMP members.

Is there power available for personal use? What can I plug in?

Yes, our camp has electricity 24/7. We provide charging stations for small personal devices (phones, cameras, e-bike batteries) in the communal main tent. Our generators primarily power camp infrastructure. If you have significant personal power needs (e.g., for medical devices, AC in an RV), you should plan to bring your own silent generator or power solution. Please do not bring high-draw appliances like hair dryers, electric heaters, or personal air conditioners that plug into the camp grid, as they can overload the system.

What are the costs for optional RV services?

If you have an RV, optional services are available on-playa for an additional fee paid directly to the service provider. A grey/black water pump-out service is typically around $85. A fresh water refill service is typically around $115. Specific details and providers will be shared with accepted campers.

Can I bring my art car or a large sound system?

Placement for art cars needs to be coordinated well in advance and depends on our camp layout and BRC rules. Personal large sound systems are generally discouraged to maintain the chill vibe of our Vibration Lounge and respect our neighbors. Small, personal Bluetooth speakers are fine if used respectfully.

What do camp support shifts involve?

Shifts are typically 3-5 hours per week during BM week and can include greeting visitors to the Vibration Lounge, explaining the experience, helping reset the vibro-platforms between sessions, light mooping (Matter Out Of Place cleanup) around camp, or assisting with minor operational tasks. It's a great way to meet people!

What is the policy on guests or visitors?

Our Vibration Lounge is our gift to Black Rock City, and we welcome visitors to experience it during its operating hours! For overnight guests in your personal tent/RV, please be mindful of camp resources and ensure your guests also understand and respect our camp ethos and community space. Extended stays for non-campers are generally not feasible due to resource planning.
